J.J. Watt honors Pat Tillman with latest Reebok sneaker
J.J. Watt is honoring the legacy of former NFL safety and United States Army Ranger Pat Tillman with the release of his latest Reebok training shoe, the JJ IV Valor.
The Arizona Cardinals defensive end worked with Tillman's wife, Marie, on the shoe's design and development.

For each sale made of the JJ IV Valor from May 27 to Aug. 31, Reebok will donate $10 to the Pat Tillman Foundation for a maximum donation of $10,000. Watt will also donate 100% of his personal proceeds from the shoe to the foundation.
"Pat Tillman lived his life in service of a purpose bigger than himself. That is his true legacy," Watt said in a statement. "This shoe is a small way to pay tribute to a legendary man, by not only honoring him but also donating to the foundation established in his name and ensuring that his legacy lives on."


Tillman played for the Cardinals from 1998 to 2001 before leaving the NFL to enlist in the U.S. Army. He was killed in Afghanistan on April 22, 2004, at the age of 27.
