Don Cheadle teases Jordan cameo in 'Space Jam: A New Legacy'
"Space Jam: A New Legacy" actor Don Cheadle revealed Michael Jordan will have some kind of role in the new movie.
Cheadle, who plays a rogue artificial intelligence named AI-G Rhythm in the film, was asked during an interview with Access Hollywood if the NBA legend will appear in it and had a cryptic response.
"Michael Jordan is in the movie, but not in the way you'd expect it," Cheadle said toward the end of the interview.
"Space Jam: A New Legacy" stars LeBron James in the lead role and will feature appearances by a number of other NBA and WNBA players, including Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard, Diana Taurasi, and Nneka Ogwumike.
James told Entertainment Weekly in March that he hadn't spoken to Jordan about the new movie but hoped for his approval.
