AD, Klay, Taurasi, more unveiled as 'Space Jam' Goon Squad
LeBron James' competition for the upcoming "Space Jam: A New Legacy" has been officially unveiled.
On Thursday, the movie's official Twitter account announced the five NBA and WNBA players who will make up the Goon Squad: Nneka Ogwumike as "Arachnneka," Anthony Davis as "The Brow," Klay Thompson as "Wet-Fire," Diana Taurasi as "White Mamba," and Damian Lillard as "Chronos."

In the movie, James and his son, Dom (played by Cedric Joe), get pulled into a virtual "Serververse" ruled by an A.I. named Al-G Rhythm (Don Cheadle). To save his son and escape, James must round up the Looney Tunes and face the Goon Squad in a basketball game.
"Space Jam: A New Legacy" releases July 16 in theaters and on HBO Max.
