The Brooklyn Nets' success this season appears to have made them a target of Twitter critics.
Geotagged Twitter data gathered in the last month by Betonline.ag, including over 90,000 tweets that mentioned hating a particular team, found the Eastern Conference-leading Nets were the most disliked NBA franchise across the United States. They were followed closely behind by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Here's the official state count for each team that appears on the map above:
Brooklyn Nets: 25 states
Los Angeles Lakers: 21 states
Philadelphia 76ers: 2 states
Boston Celtics: 2 states
