Trevor Lawrence, the projected No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, is signing a sponsorship deal with Adidas, according to Sportico's Eben Novy-Williams and Scott Soshnick.

The former Clemson star will join fellow quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and Tua Tagovailoa in the three stripe brand family.

Lawrence figures to ink several other endorsements as he transitions from college to the pros. The 21-year-old has been billed as the greatest quarterback prospect in years following his storied career at Clemson, which included a national championship and a runner-up finish in Heisman Trophy voting.

Alvin Kamara and JuJu Smith-Schuster are among the non-quarterbacks to hold deals with Adidas.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to land Lawrence with first pick in the draft, which begins April 29.
