Minnesota's Liam Robbins: Won't play Saturday

Rotowire ·

Robbins (ankle) will be unavailable for Saturday's game against Rutgers, Marcus Fuller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Robbins is set to miss his fourth straight game due to a lingering ankle injury that he suffered in a game against Purdue on Feb. 11. The 7-0 junior initially attempted to try and play through the pain but it caused him to have some of his most unproductive stat lines of the season and he now appears to potentially be in danger of missing the Gophers' Big Ten Tournament game on Wednesday. Eric Curry should continue to remain in the starting lineup while Robbins is sidelined.
