Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo has joined the Jordan Brand family.
Jordan Brand announced Adebayo as the newest addition to its basketball roster Friday. The 23-year-old was previously signed to Nike, Jordan Brand's parent company.
"It hasn't sunk in yet, but it will soon, even just based on the simple fact that everybody knows who MJ is and what he's done for the game of basketball," Adebayo said of joining Michael Jordan's clothing and footwear label.
"Being able to say that I'm part of the brand makes me sit back and really cherish everything. I'm looking forward to the experience."
Adebayo signed a five-year, $163-million contract extension with the Heat in November.
