Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal missed Saturday's game against the Miami Heat due to health and safety protocols.
The absence comes after contact tracing revealed Beal's recent proximity to Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum.
Tatum reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 following Friday's game against Beal's Wizards.
Beal leads the NBA in scoring while averaging 35 points per game, and he's coming off 60- and 41-point outings.
