Rare 'The Rock' college football card sells for $14K
A 1994 Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Miami card sold Wednesday night on eBay for $13,988.
The card, which was sold by PWCC Marketplace, is graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA and is one of only a few with that grade available on the market.
Bumble Bee Seafoods produced 24-card sheets in 1994 featuring Johnson and other Miami stars like Ray Lewis and Warren Sapp, according to TMZ Sports. It's believed the sheets were given out during a game at the Orange Bowl that season, but since it was raining that day, most fans didn't save them.

Johnson's card has experienced a big increase in value in recent months. Another PSA 10-graded card sold for $9,000 in October, according to Darren Rovell of Action Network.

Very cool to see my football card increase in value$ for whoever owns them. I was so damn proud when these first came out.
Even though no one gave a shit about my card - everyone wanted Ray Lewis & Warren Sapp’s. 😂🤷🏽♂️
What a journey. #TheU 🙌🏾 https://t.co/aF6s7m4qGm
Johnson played defensive tackle at Miami and won a national championship with the Hurricanes in 1991. He went on to have a brief stint with the CFL's Calgary Stampeders before pursuing a wrestling career.
