Twitter map shows Steelers are most hated NFL team

The Pittsburgh Steelers' hot start to the 2020 season appears to be bringing the team some added negative attention from rival fans.

The 6-0 Steelers are the most hated NFL team across the United States, according to geotagged Twitter data gathered by Sportsinsider.com since the beginning of the season. Over 90,000 tweets were tracked to create the map below, including phrases mentioning hate for a specific team.

Pittsburgh was the most disliked team in eight states, followed closely behind by the Green Bay Packers with six states. The New England Patriots, who were the most hated team at this point last season, didn't garner nearly as much negativity.
