LaMelo promises 'big things are coming' after signing with Puma
LaMelo Ball's move to Puma was made official Wednesday, making him the first of the Ball brothers to ink an endorsement deal outside of Big Baller Brand.
Ball, a potential top pick in November's NBA draft, is already teasing a promising future for himself and the brand.
"Puma was a good fit because they tie basketball, music, and fashion so well together and will allow me to really bring my creative vision to life," the 19-year-old point guard told Complex's Mike DeStefano. "I don't want to give too much away, but big things are coming. It's been fun working with the Puma Hoops design team and I'll just leave it at that."
Asked about the possibility of releasing his own sneaker, as he did with Big Baller Brand in 2017, Ball replied, "I guess you'll have to wait and see."
Ball joins a Puma Hoops roster that includes the Los Angeles Lakers' Kyle Kuzma, the Denver Nuggets' Michael Porter Jr., and the New York Knicks' RJ Barrett.
