Shaquille O'Neal has created a shrine in his living room to honor the late Kobe Bryant and their time together with the Los Angeles Lakers.
O'Neal shared the shrine Saturday during a video call with "Entertainment Tonight" to promote his upcoming "Shark Week" appearance.
"I definitely think about him every day and the world is doing a great job of keeping him alive," O'Neal said of Bryant.
The Hall of Famer also shared a message for Bryant's wife, Vanessa.
"I haven't had a chance to talk to her, but hopefully she knows that my family, we will open up our arms to her. Hopefully, her daughters will call me 'Uncle Shaq' like my kids called Kobe 'Uncle Kobe,'" he said. "Even though he's not with us, he will always be with us."
O'Neal and Bryant were teammates with Los Angeles for eight seasons from 1996 to 2004, leading the Lakers to three straight NBA championships from 2000-02.
