Peyton Manning took a jab at the Los Angeles Chargers over their attendance woes while on a Zoom call with the Denver Nuggets recently.
As the Nuggets' Mason Plumlee recalled to Mike Singer of the Denver Post, Manning was taking questions when one player asked the future Hall of Famer for advice on playing in an arena without fans.
"He was like, 'I'm just not the one to answer that question,'" Plumlee said. "'You'd probably have to ask somebody with the Chargers or one of these other teams.'"
The Chargers ranked last in the NFL in attendance last season, averaging 31,750 fans per game at Dignity Health Sports Park. The team is set to move into its new home at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, this season.
