Alabama's 2021 recruiting class received a major boost Friday, as five-star offensive tackle Tommy Brockermeyer announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide.

Brockermeyer is the No. 2 overall prospect on the ESPN 300 and the top-ranked player at his position.

Tommy's twin brother, James, also committed to the program. He's the highest-ranked center prospect and the No. 99 overall recruit.

The twin brothers join Alabama from Fort Worth, Texas. They received offers from a number of big-time schools, including Auburn, Michigan, LSU, and the Longhorns.

The Crimson Tide have now reeled in seven top-100 prospects from the premier 2021 recruiting cycle. Two, excluding Brockermeyer, are five-star players, with No. 13 recruit Dallas Turner committing earlier in July and fellow offensive tackle J.C. Latham (No. 9 overall) pledging in June.
