Mike Tyson was looking for a big payday from a potential exhibition match against Tyson Fury.

Fury told iFL TV that the two were in talks about a match and that Tyson was looking to make $500 million, but nothing ever materialized.

"I was contacted by Mike Tyson's people. Me and Mike had a FaceTime, we had a Zoom call, we had a phone call like we always do," Fury said. "Yeah, it was definitely real, but nothing ever materialized with it. They was offering the money to Mike, they came back and offered us like peanuts completely.

"Mike Tyson was talking to me like $500-million figures and stuff, yeah? And then what was offered, like what came back on paper, it was like, 'OK, this has gotta be a joke. Someone's crazy.' So, nothing ever happened with it. Nothing materialized, but I did have the offer on the table from ESPN of $10 million to do the fight, like an exhibition fight. It was what it was, and I think everyone's moved on."

Tyson made an estimated $685 million in earnings over the course of his career but was declared bankrupt in 2003.
