Spencer Dinwiddie's crowdfunding campaign to have fans choose his next NBA team has come to an end.

The Brooklyn Nets guard announced last week that he would sign a contract with the team of fans' choosing if he reached a goal of $24,632,630 through GoFundMe within the next month. However, Dinwiddie has decided to end the campaign after raising $1,150 and will be donating the money to charity.

"Thank you for your donation to my GoFundMe campaign over the weekend. Your contributions helped to spark an important conversation about fan involvement - and money / endorsements! - in player decisions," Dinwiddie wrote on his GoFundMe page. "I was excited by the engagement across my social media platforms."

Dinwiddie is also holding a "Best Caption" contest to decide the next charity he donates to.
