Former Chelsea striker Diego Costa has taken another shot at past boss Antonio Conte.
The fiery forward left London during the 2017-18 season after butting heads with Conte, and ultimately returned to Atletico Madrid.
Conte eventually followed him out the door at Stamford Bridge. Prior to joining current side Inter Milan, the manager was heavily linked with the Real Madrid job, but Costa doesn't believe the Italian has the right makeup to handle life at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"We (Conte and I) had problems off the pitch, but I think he is a really good manager," Costa said in an interview with ESPN. "I have no hard feelings towards Conte.
"But to be a top, top manager, he needs to change the human side of his management. He is very suspicious. At a like, say, Real Madrid, he would never last a season."
Conte won a Premier League and FA Cup title during his time with the Blues. He's in his first season with Inter. Costa, meanwhile, struggled with injury and was limited to just 13 La Liga appearances for Atletico this year prior to the pandemic-induced work stoppage.
