Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brothers are stepping up to help medical workers in their native Greece during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Antetokounmpo family donated 20,000 protective masks to the city of Athens and Zografou, an Athenian suburb, according to EuroHoops.

Zografou Mayor Vassilis Thodas thanked the Antetokounmpo brothers "for their generous donation that becomes even greater since it takes place in difficult times for the whole planet. ... They confirm that they don't forget our city and, as we've announced, when the coronavirus nightmare has gone, the municipality of Zografou will honor Giannis and his brothers appropriately."

Giannis and one of his older brothers, Thanasis, played for the senior team of Zografou-based Filathlitikos after spending time with the club's youth squad. Their younger brothers, Kostas and Alex, also played for the Filathlitikos youth squad.
