Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons remains out due to a pinched nerve in his back and will be re-evaluated in three weeks, the team announced Wednesday, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer's Keith Pompey.
It was speculated Simmons' absence would exceed the initial two-week prognosis he received when he was first sidelined. The 23-year-old's earliest return would now come in early April, less than three weeks from the scheduled start date of the NBA playoffs.
The 76ers have gone 3-4 since Simmons went down, falling to sixth in the Eastern Conference.
