Nike is honoring Kobe Bryant with a new version of his Kobe 5 sneaker.
A Los Angeles Lakers-themed colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe 5 Protro is set to be released on March 26, two months to the day of Bryant's death, according to Victor Deng of Footwear News. Bryant wore the Kobe 5 during the 2010 NBA Finals while capturing his fifth and final championship with the Lakers.
Los Angeles star Anthony Davis debuted the new colorway during the NBA All-Star Game earlier this month. DeMar DeRozan also wore the shoe during the San Antonio Spurs' loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
