Metta World Peace is predicting big things for the Los Angeles Lakers this season.
The former Lakers star shared his thoughts on LeBron James' squad in an interview with TMZ Sports, saying he believes the team has accomplished more than his 2009-10 championship club did at this point in the season.
"I think they're bigger than us to tell you the truth," World Peace said.
"They're 24-6," he added. "They're definitely, at this point, they're bigger than what we were at this point in the season."
The 2019-20 Lakers are actually 24-7 and on a four-game losing streak, while World Peace's team went 25-6 in its first 31 games. Nonetheless, he's confident Los Angeles will win the title this season.
"I think so, definitely," he said. "I know so."
