Colin Kaepernick's upcoming Nike Air Force 1 signature sneaker includes a reference to his protests.

Photos shared by Sneaker News show 08/14/16 imprinted on the bottom of the right shoe - the date the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback first kneeled during the national anthem in protest of police brutality and racial injustice.

Nike is reportedly projecting a strong demand for the shoe, which Kaepernick debuted during his workout in Georgia last month.

The shoe is set to be released Dec. 28 with a retail price of $110, according to Kicks On Fire.
