Lou Williams became $15,000 richer after some underage drinking as a rookie with the Philadelphia 76ers.

On a recent episode of the "All the Smoke" podcast with retired NBAers Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, Williams shared a story about winning a bet by drinking a six-pack on a team bus ride.

"They said I couldn't drink a six-pack of beer before we got on the plane for 15 grand," Williams recalled.

Barnes, who was Williams' teammate in Philadelphia, explained that Williams "didn't drink. He was fresh out of high school - stayed to himself, quiet" at the time.

"That motherf----- killed it," Barnes said. "But he was so wet that we almost got a little worried. Like, 'Damn, what the f---? How are we going to carry Lou?' He kind of had his arm slumped on (Allen Iverson's) shoulder, and then me and (Chris) Webb was kind of in front."

Williams spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Sixers after they selected him 45th overall in the 2005 NBA Draft.
