We would have needed a 36-point teaser to hit last week. Does anyone have odds on that?

The first two legs hit, leaving us sitting pretty heading into Monday night. Then, the Los Angeles Rams (+10 in the teaser) promptly got blown out by the Baltimore Ravens.

Let's get back to our winning ways in Week 13.

Philadelphia Eagles at Miami Dolphins

Line: Eagles -10

Opening line: Eagles -3

This is a great spot to back the Eagles, who should be able to comfortably cover this number. The public couldn't be any lower on Philadelphia right now following home losses to the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. The Dolphins, bless their soul, aren't remotely in the same category as those two.

As bad as the Eagles' offense has looked during the last couple of weeks, it's in a great spot here. It's hard to judge Carson Wentz for a game in which his starting wide receivers were J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward, and his offensive line was brutally banged up. Alshon Jeffrey and Nelson Agholor are both expected to return this week, which will be a massive boost for the signal-caller, as will the return of tackle Lane Johnson, who officially cleared the league's concussion protocol Wednesday. With the unit getting healthy and a light schedule ahead, this offense is about to go on a run to close out the year.

There's no better team to start against than the Dolphins, whose defense ranks 32nd in DVOA (32nd against the pass and 29th against the run). The Eagles' defense, meanwhile, has been much better recently, as it's allowed 17 or fewer points in each of the last four games. Forget what you saw against Seattle, this game shouldn't be close.

New York Jets at Cincinnati Bengals

Line: Bengals +3.5

Opening line: Bengals +10.5

I discussed this game extensively in the parlay of the week article, but there's a lot that bears repeating. The most important point is the gulf in ability between Ryan Finley and Andy Dalton, the latter of whom will be back under center this week for the Bengals.

Dalton has thrown for at least 262 yards in each of his four home starts this season, and the offense is considerably more efficient when he's under center. He'll look to make the most of his second chance and should have ample opportunity against a Jets team that has given up 26 or more points in all but one road game this season - the exception being 17 points by a Washington Redskins offense that has been beyond miserable with Dwayne Haskins throwing the ball.

Cincinnati has really improved on the defensive side of the ball and should be able to get to Sam Darnold, who's been sacked 13 times in three road games compared to just 10 times in five home contests this season. Trust the Bengals in this spot to have success moving the ball and putting up points, and also to do enough on defense to stay within the number.

Washington Redskins at Carolina Panthers

Line: Panthers -10

Opening line: Panthers -3

I typically don't like to include two big favorites in the same teaser but sometimes the occasion calls for it. Much like with the Eagles, we're getting a reasonable line here thanks to the Redskins winning last week and the Panthers losing, again.

Despite Carolina's struggles, this is typically a spot in which it has excelled under head coach Ron Rivera. The Panthers are 14-0 straight-up when laying at least a touchdown at home and 10-4 against the spread. They've won every one of those games by at least a field goal.

The Panthers' offense showed last week how explosive it can be - with Kyle Allen picking up chunk yardage through the air and Christian McCaffrey continuing to do his thing - as it dropped 31 points on the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome. The Redskins' defense isn't nearly as formidable, ranking 23rd in both adjusted sack rate and explosive pass rate allowed.

Defensively, Carolina has been gashed by the run in recent weeks while going up against some of the game's best quarterbacks in Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, and Aaron Rodgers. You can't stack the box against those guys, but the Panthers should have no problem doing so against Haskins, who isn't beating anyone through the air, regardless of the coverage.
