The shoe that Detroit Lions legend Barry Sanders wore during his NFL career is making a comeback.
To commemorate the 20-year anniversary of Sanders' retirement, Nike is releasing 2,053 pairs of the Air Zoom Turf Jet 97 - the same number of rushing yards recorded by the former running back during the 1997 season.
The shoe features the word "Lions" on one strap and Sanders' retired jersey number, 20, on the other.

A limited number of the shoes were released Wednesday at the Lions Team Shop, with the rest set to drop Thursday at kickoff of Detroit's Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Chicago Bears.
Sanders will serve as an honorary game-day captain on Thursday.
