Twitter map: NFL teams more popular than NBA clubs in most states

New Twitter data shows the NFL is dominating the NBA in terms of popularity across the United States.
Betonline.ag used geotagged Twitter data gathered over the last month, including team mentions and hashtags for both leagues, to create a map of team popularity across the U.S.
The map shows NFL teams are more popular than NBA clubs in all but five states - Utah, Arizona, Hawaii, Oklahoma, and New York.
Several NFL teams including the Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, and New England Patriots are also notably popular outside their home states.
