After undergoing hip surgery on Monday, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be on a partial weight-bearing recovery plan for six weeks that includes daily rehab, team doctor Lyle Cain told ESPN's Laura Rutledge.

Tagovailoa will be able to begin athletic activities in three months and should be ready to resume throwing by the spring.

Friends visiting the quarterback in hospital posted videos of Tua's singing and dancing from his bed ahead of the surgery.
