Notre Dame currently owns the second-longest active sellout streak in college football at 273 games, but it looks like that could end this weekend.

Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick said in a statement that based on ticket sales, the Fighting Irish don't expect to sell out Saturday's game against Navy or their Nov. 23 matchup against Boston College.

"That this comes during a time of sustained success for our football program reflects both challenges impacting the ticket market nationwide and the unique dynamics of this year's schedule," Swarbrick said, according to Mike Berardino of the Indianapolis Star.

The last time Notre Dame failed to sell out a home game was on Thanksgiving Day in 1973. Nebraska has the longest active sellout streak at 373 games.
