Milwaukee Bucks big man Robin Lopez has been named in a high-profile criminal case after unknowingly purchasing stolen Disney World items on eBay, Gabrielle Russon of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Authorities discovered Lopez was in possession of clothing items belonging to a vintage Epcot animatronic named Buzzy, according to audio interviews released through a public records request from the Sentinel. The clothes were stolen before they could be shipped to the Disney archives.

Former Disney employee Patrick Spikes and his cousin, Blaytin Taunton, have been accused of stealing items from Disney World that Spikes later sold. Both men have pleaded not guilty.

Authorities stressed Lopez is considered a victim in this case and may need to file a civil lawsuit in order to recoup any money spent on stolen items.

Buzzy's clothing, which includes a bomber jacket, headphones, and a green hat, is valued at $7,000. The Sentinel could not reach Lopez for comment and it's unclear which specific items of clothing are in his possession. His friend, Brett Finley, who is also involved in the case, told investigators Lopez would "100 percent" be willing to cooperate with authorities.

Lopez and his twin brother, Brook Lopez, are scheduled to appear at Disney Springs' new NBA Experience attraction Thursday.
