Gasol had 'Grit&Grind' engraved inside Raptors championship ring

Marc Gasol's championship ring with the Toronto Raptors features a nod to his former team.

As seen at the 50-second mark of the video below, the Raptors big man had "GRIT&GRIND" engraved on the inside of his ring - a reference to the mantra used by the Memphis Grizzlies.

Gasol confirmed the inscription to Chris Herrington of the Daily Memphian, saying he was surprised people knew about it.

The 34-year-old spent 10-and-a-half seasons with the Grizzlies before being dealt to the Raptors at the trade deadline in February.
