Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa could be out for one-to-two weeks after leaving Saturday's win over Tennessee with a high ankle sprain, head coach Nick Saban said on the broadcast, according to Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News.

While that rough timeline would keep the star pivot out of next week's contest against Arkansas, he would return for the highly anticipated showdown with No. 2 LSU on Nov. 9.

"He said, 'I'll be back for LSU,'" linebacker Terrell Lewis told Charlie Potter of 247 Sports in the locker room. "I know how Tua is. It's something he's been through before, so I don't doubt the fact that he's a competitor. He's going to get right back, and he'll be fine."

Tagovailoa suffered the injury late in the second quarter while landing awkwardly as he was sacked. After heading to the training tent on the sidelines, the junior pivot immediately walked to the locker room and was declared out at halftime.

After briefly heading to the hospital for further tests, Tagovailoa returned to the stadium for the remainder of Alabama's victory. While the Crimson Tide should be able to handle the Razorbacks next week with backup Mac Jones under center, getting Tagovailoa back for what should be a high-scoring affair with LSU is crucial.
