Ex-NFLer Brandon Marshall training to become professional boxer

Former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall is trying out a new sport.

The 35-year-old made it known in an Instagram video Tuesday that he's training to become a heavyweight boxer.

"I'm about to do the unthinkable. Heavyweight champion of the world," Marshall said in the video before calling out Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, Luis Ortiz, and Tyson Fury.

Marshall last played in the NFL as a member of the Seattle Seahawks in 2018. He has 970 receptions for 12,351 yards and 83 touchdowns in 179 career games.
