Tacko Fall takes 1st-ever swimming lesson
Tacko Fall tackled a new challenge this week: learning how to swim.
The Boston Celtics' 7-foot-7 rookie center joined a group of youngsters at the Charlestown Boys & Girls Club for his first-ever swimming lesson Wednesday.
"I never learned how to swim, which is crazy because I lived right by the ocean back in Senegal," Fall said, according to Nicole Yang of Boston.com. "I don't want to say I was a homebody, but my mom wouldn't let me go out a lot. I used to go to school and go back home, but I never really got to enjoy the beaches as much."

Fall has partaken in aquatic workouts before, but Wednesday marked his first lesson. He expressed an interest in returning to the club to continue learning.
"I'm a natural," he said. "I'm learning how to swim. This is it. I'm learning how to swim. Just give me a couple of days."
