Hakim Laws, the Eagles fan who went viral for calling out Nelson Agholor over his recent drops, said Philadelphia's Week 3 loss to the Detroit Lions was still on his mind when he helped rescue children from a burning building early Monday morning.

"Messed up my whole day," Laws told John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia. "That was earlier the same day that happened. Maybe 12 hours or so. Less than that. Yeah, I'm gonna think about that all day."

Laws didn't expect his initial interview to get this much attention, but he isn't surprised his comments resonated with so many Eagles fans.

"I think I probably connected because I was saying what everybody else was thinking," he said. "Or they said amongst themselves, 'That's what it is.'"

The comments even caught the attention of Agholor, who tweeted Monday that he wanted to invite Laws and his family to the Eagles' next home game. Laws said the team has since reached out and is setting up a date with him.

"Being acknowledged for doing something like that, rescuing people from a fire, that's the real reward for me," Laws said.
