LeBron's HS jersey from 2002 Sports Illustrated cover up for auction
An iconic piece of memorabilia from LeBron James' early days is up for grabs.
The St. Vincent-St. Mary High School jersey worn by a 17-year-old James on the February 2002 cover of Sports Illustrated - and for the majority of his junior season - is being auctioned off by Goldin Auctions.
Bidding is currently at $34,000 and the company's founder, Ken Goldin, told TMZ Sports he expects it to reach at least $300,000.

Goldin Auctions notes in its description that the jersey was given directly by James to the consignor, who also attended St. Vincent-St. Mary's. The winning bidder will receive a letter from the consignor.
The auction closes Oct. 19.
