The New England Patriots have added an option year in 2020 worth $20 million to Antonio Brown's one-year contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The addition is a team option, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk added.
Brown's one-year contract for 2019 is reportedly worth $15 million with a $9-million signing bonus. The deal is expected to be made official on Monday.
The mercurial receiver joined New England after being released by the Oakland Raiders on Saturday. That came after Brown signed a three-year deal with Oakland worth $50 million - $30 million of which was guaranteed - in the offseason.
