Report: Brown 'not happy' after being fined by Raiders for GM altercation

Instead of suspending Antonio Brown for his recent altercation with general manager Mike Mayock, the Oakland Raiders opted to fine the star receiver an unspecified amount, a source told ESPN's Ed Werder.

Werder's source claims Brown is "not happy" with his punishment despite being cleared to play in Week 1.

Alongside the club's captains, Brown gave an "emotional apology" at a team meeting earlier Friday following the reported altercation. Head coach Jon Gruden announced his intention to play him versus the Denver Broncos shortly after.

The 31-year-old previously voiced his displeasure after the Raiders fined him for his absence at training camp.

Brown also downplayed the severity of the argument between he and Mayock that stemmed from the fines and claimed he spoke to the general manager "one-on-one, man-to-man" to clear the air.

Oakland reportedly was considering suspending the wideout, but Gruden said the team was "ready to move on."
