Lonzo Ball went through a lot of pairs of Big Baller Brand ZO2 sneakers during NBA summer league in 2017.

On the latest episode of the "LightHarted Podcast" with New Orleans Pelicans teammate Josh Hart, Ball revealed that he had to swap out his shoes every quarter because they weren't ready.

"No one knows this, but DMo (manager Darren Moore) had a backpack and he had an extra, like, four pairs of shoes in there, 'cause I had to switch them every quarter 'cause they would just rip," Ball said.

The first ZO2 was unveiled in May 2017 with a $495 price tag. The shoe then received a complete redesign a few months later.

Ball admitted earlier this year that the Los Angeles Lakers approached him last season to ask if his Big Baller Brand sneakers had contributed to his ankle injuries. He said he informed the team he would be open to making "minor" changes to the sneakers.
