New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung pleaded not guilty Monday to a felony charge of cocaine possession in New Hampshire, according to NESN's Zack Cox.
Chung waived his arraignment and had his lawyer enter the plea on his behalf. His next court date is set for Nov. 8.
Chung was indicted Aug. 22. He was discovered to be in possession of the drug on June 25.
The 32-year-old posted 84 tackles and one interception last year while collecting his third Super Bowl ring. He has practiced throughout the preseason but hasn't appeared in any games.
