Floyd Mayweather Sr. sounds optimistic about a potential rematch between his son, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Manny Pacquiao.

"I'm pretty sure that they gonna fight," the elder Mayweather, who was in his son's corner for their 2015 bout, told TMZ Sports on Wednesday. "If Pacquiao says he wants to fight, I'm pretty sure they're gonna fight again."

If the fight does happen, Mayweather Sr. is confident his son will come out on top again.

"My son will kick his ass the second, third, fourth, fifth (time)," he said.

Mayweather Jr. revealed on Instagram earlier this week that he was paid $2.2 million to make a video teasing a rematch against Pacquiao but admitted "the fight will never happen again."
