Watch: Top jumps from the 2019 Death Diving World Championships
Norway Live/YouTube
The 2019 Death Diving World Championships were recently held in Norway and, as is customary for the sport, there were plenty of painful-looking jumps.
Death diving - or dodsing, as it's known in Norway - requires competitors to jump from a 10-meter platform and remain rigid as long as possible before bracing for impact. The competition was tight at this year's event, with Kim-Andre Knutsen winning by a mere half-point.
