The first trailer has dropped for "Inside Game," the upcoming movie about the 2007 betting scandal involving former NBA referee Tim Donaghy.

Releasing Nov. 1, "Inside Game" tells the true story of how Donaghy and his two childhood friends, Tommy Martino and bookie James "Baba" Battista, hatched a scheme to make millions betting on NBA games Donaghy officiated. The film stars Michael O'Keefe as Donaghy, Scott Wolf as Martino, and Will Sasso as Battista.

"'Inside Game' is an inside look at the lives affected by people who think they are above the law. Unethical plans almost always seem easy, and they almost always have an inescapable crack because we are all human," director-producer Randall Batinkoff said in a statement, according to Etan Vlessing of The Hollywood Reporter.

Donaghy was sentenced to 15 months in prison in 2008 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to engage in wire fraud and transmitting betting information through interstate commerce.
