Report: Lukaku agrees to Juventus contract worth €9M per season
Juventus reached an agreement Thursday with Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku on a contract worth €9 million per season, Goal correspondent Romeo Agresti reports.
The transfer is reportedly contingent on Paulo Dybala moving to United, who are currently in negotiations with the Argentine's representatives.
Dybala was expected to meet with Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri regarding the matter, but the Guardian's Fabrizio Romano understands that the two have yet to speak.
Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici flew out to England on Wednesday to see if he could strike a deal with United, according to Sky Sport Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio.
Dybala, meanwhile, returned to Turin on Thursday after an extended vacation. Di Marzio reports that the 25-year-old won't be available for training until Aug. 5.
While waiting for the playmaker to decide his future, Juventus began to negotiate personal terms with Lukaku. It appears he'd now prefer to join the eight-time defending Serie A champions over Inter, whose conditional €70-million bid for the Belgian international was reportedly turned down by United earlier in July.
