KD curse? Fan suggests Giants' hot streak is due to Durant leaving Dubs
The San Francisco Giants find themselves on a roll as of late, winning 11 of their last 13 games to move within two-and-a-half games of the second National League wild-card spot.
San Francisco's hot streak happens to coincide with Kevin Durant leaving the Golden State Warriors for the Brooklyn Nets in NBA free agency, leading one Giants fan to an interesting conclusion:
In 2016, the #SFGiants went 52-32 before Kevin Durant shocked and angered the NBA world by announcing he would sign with the Warriors. During the “KD Era” the Giants would go 207-277. They are now 11-2 since Kevin Durant announced he would be going to Brooklyn. #TheKDCurse

The San Francisco 49ers also struggled during Durant's three seasons in the Bay Area, going 12-36, NBC Sports' Josh Schrock notes. The Warriors, on the other hand, won two NBA championships with the superstar on their roster.
