The 35-year-old competitive eater won by a margin of 11 hot dogs but failed to break his own world record of 74, set last year.
Major League Eating considered using an electronic counting system this year after the counters missed a plate of five hot dogs at the 2018 competition, but instead decided to add more "skilled spotters," according to Action Network's Darren Rovell.
