Tobias Harris will re-sign with the Philadelphia 76ers on a five-year, $180-million contract, his father and agent, Torrel Harris, told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal doesn't include a player option, a source told Wojnarowski.

Because the 76ers had Harris' Bird rights after acquiring him from the Los Angeles Clippers last season, they could've offered him up to $188 million over five years. Sunday's figure indicates Harris gave the team something of a discount. Harris turned down a four-year, $80 million contract extension with the Clippers last summer.

The Harris signing is good news for the 76ers after they reportedly lost Jimmy Butler to the Miami Heat, as well as their top shooter JJ Redick to the New Orleans Pelicans.
