The first signature sneaker from Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell is here.
Set to be released July 1, the Adidas D.O.N. (Determination Over Negativity) Issue #1 pays tribute to Mitchell's "Spida" nickname with four Marvel Super Hero-inspired colorways. It will retail for $100.
"'Determination Over Negativity' is a belief that anything is possible no matter who you are or where you come from," Mitchell said. "I wanted this sneaker to be a symbol of that - for the kid who believes they can do anything."
The sneaker features a wavy tread pattern, spider-web stitching, and custom coding that represents the addresses of stops Mitchell has made on his way to the NBA, such as Brewster Academy in New Hampshire and the University of Louisville.
