Report: Kyrie has 'essentially ghosted' the Celtics

Following news that he would decline his player option for next season, Kyrie Irving is apparently set to enter unrestricted free agency while having almost no contact with the Boston Celtics.
Irving "has essentially ghosted on the Celtics," according to the Boston Globe's Adam Himmelsbach, who reported that people he's spoken to inside the organization have had little, if any, communication with the star point guard in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, reports have circulated that Irving will sign with the Brooklyn Nets, ending a two-year tenure in Boston. The 27-year-old was also reported to be signing with Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports agency, which has multiple connections to the Nets.
