Former Tulsa guard DaQuan Jeffries agreed to an undrafted free-agent deal with the Orlando Magic on Friday, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Jeffries is the typical sleeper who may carve out a long career based on his physicality and high motor. If he's able to efficiently shoot from the perimeter and develop into a legitimate 3-and-D threat, he'll be a low-cost steal.
The 6-foot-5 wing averaged 13 points and 5.6 rebounds in 28.1 minutes during his last season with Tulsa.

What the analysts are saying
- "A no-frills combo forward, Jeffries helped his stock at Portsmouth with a strong performance that showcased his strength, explosiveness, and ability to hit set shots. While he’s a bit undersized for that role, he’s likely to have plenty of suitors as an undrafted free agent as teams search for glue guys who could potentially slide into a bench spot and be viable long term. He wasn’t in the spotlight much in Tulsa, but is an attractive sleeper." - Sports Illustrated's Jeremy Woo
