The Oakland Raiders are re-signing veteran running back Doug Martin, sources told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Steve Wyche.
Martin rejoins the Raiders after Isaiah Crowell suffered a season-ending Achilles tear Tuesday.
The 30-year-old rusher signed with Oakland prior to the 2018 campaign. He carried the ball 172 times for 723 yards and four touchdowns.
Martin spent the previous six seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was selected by the team in the first round (No. 31 overall) of the 2012 draft.
The veteran rusher should slot back into his role as the Raiders' secondary option in the backfield behind rookie first-rounder Josh Jacobs.
